Lloyd A. Hall, age 60, passed away on November 10, 2017 at his home in Tacoma. In his younger years Lloyd was a paperboy delivering the Tacoma News Tribune. He later worked as a Courtesy Clerk at several local stores. He was a member of the Adult Learning Center in Tacoma until his health failed. Lloyd loved people and was immediately liked by all he encountered. He won many awards and medals as a swimmer for the Special Olympics. Some of his favorite things included bowling, wrestling, bicycling, music, winding clocks, performing acts of kindness for other people, all kinds of games, attending church and caring for his mother. Survivors include his loving mother Barbara Hall of Tacoma, siblings Jan Ferrado of Washington, Pat (John) Sepanekwa of Washington, Chris Hall of Lakewood, Amedee Joseph, SR of Tacoma, Melinda (Andre) Sam of Lakewood, Angela of Mississippi, and Theresa of Kansas; aunts and uncles Muffy Brownell, Dodo and Carl Faulkerson, Thane and Don Layton and Vance and Marleen Hall; as well as numerous other family members and friends. Friends are invited to a time of visitation Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 10 am to 1 pm and to Funeral Services following at 1pm all at Weeks Dryer Mortuary, 220 134th Street South, Tacoma, WA 98444. Interment will be in New Tacoma Cemetery immediately following the service. Remembrances to the Special Olympics, Goodwill or The Down Syndrome Association.
